Geisinger Gold Medicare Advantage members have access to more than 30,000 doctors throughout Pennsylvania, over 180 hospitals and nearly 3,000 pharmacies.

Geisinger Gold HMO Plans are available to Pennsylvania residents and vary by county.

With an HMO Plan, you can choose a primary care physician (PCP) in the Geisinger network to manage your care, and any care you receive with an HMO plan will need to be provided by in-network physicians. No referrals are required. 

Geisinger Gold offers six HMO plans in 2025. Classic 360 Rx, Classic Complete Rx, Classic Essential Rx, Classic Advantage Rx and the Heritage Plan that does not include prescription drug coverage.

This plan has a $0 monthly premium, so it costs you nothing to receive additional benefits. And you don’t lose any of your current Medicaid and Medicare benefits.

Are you a Medicare beneficiary and also eligible for Medicaid benefits? If so, a Dual Eligible Medicare Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) like Geisinger Gold Secure Rx could save you money. Geisinger Gold Medicare Advantage Secure Rx plan is designed for those who are eligible for Medicare Part A, enrolled in Part B and receive full Medicaid coverage.With Geisinger Gold Secure Rx, you can also enjoy benefits that may include:

• $0 telehealth video calls with your primary care physician and for mental health/substance abuse visits
• $4,500/year for comprehensive dental services, plus $0 preventive services

For 2025, the Geisinger Gold Heritage (HMO) over-the-counter program will provide $40 per month for over-the-counter (OTC) medications and health-related supplies. Through our partner NationsBenefits, your OTC benefit gives you access to hundreds of OTC products across a variety of categories and with participating retailers. You’ll also be able to access your personalized benefits through the NationsBenefits Benefits  Pro Portal at geisinger.nationsbenefits.com or via the Benefits Pro mobile app — making ordering even easier. You can also call  877-880-8874 (TTY: 711) on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. local time Language support services are available if needed, free of charge. A Benefits Mastercard® Prepaid Card will be mailed to your home within 10 days after you’re enrolled in Heritage (HMO) with step-by-step instructions. Use this prepaid card for approved OTC items at a participating location. At the beginning of each month, Geisinger Gold will apply a $40 balance for use on approved OTC items. Funds do not roll over each month.
